Hi! I'm Dana. And I am obsessed with my creatures (and probably yours, too). I went to college in Chicago, moved to Minnesota and met (my now husband) Eric, and then in 2016 we moved back to Eric's hometown in Wisconsin where we got our first creature (Cassius) and bought an old fixer upper house in the woods. From that moment on, life as I knew it shifted completely -- I went from wearing high heels and having fake nails to being covered in mud and pet hair and smelling of deep woods bug spray.

 

Over the last few years, we have slowly but surely added more creatures to our pack -- three outdoor/barn cats, another german shepherd, 7 chickens, the most loving stray cat in the world, a 3 week old kitten that got run over by a lawn mower that needed a home (not injured, just traumatized by lawn mowers for life), and...6 more chickens. Needless to say, both my hands and my heart are full. 

 

I started this website dedicated to my beloved creatures because (as you will find out) they've had their fair share of health challenges, which have incurred unexpected expenses. By sharing their stories, tips, and my love for them, I hope to create a supportive online community and with this site, I hope to help each of you with your pets' health needs with the experiences we've been through thus far. Through affiliate marketing and social media, I am hoping to generate a bit of income to help cover their medical bills and day to day expenses.
